Songs Sung for Children Brought Hope through Music

The 'Yeşilçam Songs' concert, performed by the TSM Choir consisting of veteran members of the BUSADER Federation, took place in support of the Hatay Samandağ BUSADER Primary School and children with leukemia.

Veteran BUSADER, one of the associations within the Federation of United International Health and Education Volunteers Associations, continues its goodwill movement. This time, as part of the April 23 Children's Day celebrations, Veteran BUSADER members organized a special evening for both BUSADER Primary School and LÖDER (Leukemia Support Association) beneficiaries. After months of rehearsals at the Fatih Erkoç Art Academy, the choir, composed of members of the association, showcased their talents at the 'Yeşilçam Songs' concert held at Merinos AKKM. Conducted by Bahadır Sevik, the choir and soloists performed beloved songs associated with unforgettable Yeşilçam movies, receiving a standing ovation at the end of the evening. Taking the stage for the finale, BUSADER Federation President Zerrin Özgüle, on behalf of President Deniz Cantürk and the entire Veteran BUSADER Family, thanked Conductor Bahadır Sevik. LÖDER Board Member Pınar Uğuryol presented a plaque of appreciation to Veteran BUSADER.

LET'S NOT FORGET THE EARTHQUAKE ZONE

Celebrating the April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day with the students at the BUSADER Primary School in Hatay Samandağ, BUSADER Federation President Zerrin Özgüle, in her speech during the event, mentioned that the aid to the earthquake zone has gradually decreased over time. Emphasizing the importance of this meaningful concert, especially for the children in the region, Özgüle said, "Please let's not forget our people in the earthquake zone. As time passes, the pain there is forgotten, but the needs of the region do not disappear. Therefore, volunteer civil society organizations like us and philanthropists have a lot of work to do."
